Genesis 15:7-9

⁷ God said to him, “I am the Lord Who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land for your own.” ⁸ And Abram said, “O Lord God, how may I know that it will be mine?” ⁹ So the Lord said to him, “Bring Me a three-year-old cow, a three-year-old female goat, a three-year-old ram, a turtledove and a young pigeon.”
